One in 10 women will experience a life-threatening complication.

Maria anxiously waited for the results of her at home pregnancy test. It wasn’t long before two faint pink lines appeared, confirming Maria’s deepest fears.

But Maria couldn’t tell her boyfriend about the positive pregnancy test. She knew she wouldn’t be met with support. Instead, Maria grabbed her phone and typed the words, “Free abortion pills.”

The pills were easy to order online. They came at a low-cost. Maria didn’t even need to make an appointment with a doctor. And they arrived in her mailbox within a few days.

It’s a little-known fact, but most abortions today are not performed inside a clinic. Actually, at this very moment, 63% of abortions involve taking powerful drugs. Drugs that a woman can quietly—and easily—order online.

Yet, one in 10 abortion-minded women who take this drug will experience a life-threatening complication. That’s 22 times the rate stated on the label!

And while experiencing these complications, women like Maria will be at home, alone, and terrified.

But timing really is everything. Because when a woman searches online, the risks of abortion pills will be portrayed as minor – as the quietest—and easiest—way to solve their crisis.

However, a shocking report just published by the Foundation for the Restoration of America (FFROA) is exposing the truth: abortion drugs like mifepristone or misoprostol are not safe for women.

In reviewing insurance claims for patients who used these medications, the FFROA report found life-threatening complications at 22 times the rate stated on the label.

Planned Parenthood, reinforcing this, promotes these pills as “safer than Tylenol.” With serious side effects as “extremely rare.” But real-world data from insurance claims as reviewed in the FFROA report offers a more comprehensive view of patient safety.

In reality, one in 10 women who take these problematic pills will suffer a life-threatening complication.

These complications could include hemorrhage, infection, sepsis, hospitalization, uterine rupture, ruptured ectopic pregnancy…or even death. Yet in January 2023, the FDA allowed companies to distribute them by mail because of the drug’s “strong safety record.”

FFROA, however, is demanding the FDA reevaluate its findings while calling for congressional hearings “to find out how they could’ve gotten it so wrong.” These harmful drugs are too easy to access and are more than likely the primary drivers for the growth of total abortions in the U.S.

However, with your help we can urgently reach women like Maria first.

You see, women need to know the truth about these powerful, yet, deceptive pills. They’re not her only option! With your support, we can meet her in the midst of her fear and uncertainty—and let her know she’s not alone.
