From Overwhelmed to Hopeful: Selah’s Story

When Selah first came to us, she was overwhelmed and certain she would end her pregnancy. She had even looked into getting the abortion pill online and felt she had nowhere safe to turn.

Because of you made that first appointment possible, Selah found a compassionate space to share her heart—her love for the preschoolers she works with, her supportive friends and family, and her spiritual roots. The caring staff member she met with encouraged her to pause, pray, and seek clarity, bringing her an unexpected sense of peace.

Still uncertain, Selah later purchased the abortion pill but immediately regretted it. When she returned for a follow-up ultrasound, everything changed. Seeing her baby on the screen moved her deeply and made the pregnancy real.

After prayer and reflection, she chose life, saying, “I feel like this is His will, and I know I have support.”

Today, Selah is joyfully preparing her baby’s nursery and staying connected with our team. She recently shared: “Thank you for all the support—it’s really been keeping me going!”
