When Joseph revealed himself to his brothers in Egypt, he didn’t rage. He didn’t demand payment for their betrayal. Instead, he offered a profound truth: “It was not you who sent me here, but God… God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.” (Genesis 45:7-8)
Joseph understood something essential: God uses our stories—our pain, our purpose, our presence—to save lives.
That’s the calling of Caring Network. For over 40 years, we’ve been walking with women, families, and communities to restore hope when crisis feels overwhelming. We meet them where they are, walk with them fully, and surround them with lasting support. Not through pressure. Through presence. Not through judgment. Through love.
Because saving lives looks different when Christ is at the center.
Three Ways Christians Save Lives Today
Through Gospel Presence
Jesus called us to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). We are ambassadors—bearers of good news, living proof that God meets us in our darkest moments. At Caring Network, we save lives by simply showing up first. When a woman discovers an unexpected pregnancy, she doesn’t need politics. She needs presence. She needs to know someone sees her, hears her, and believes in her future.
We are Christ’s ambassadors—”as though God were making his appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:20).
Through Sacrificial Service
Joseph served Egypt—a nation not his own—with the generosity of Christ. We’re called to do the same: “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).
Caring Network saves lives by meeting women at their point of greatest need—medical care, counseling, spiritual guidance, and long-term support. Each clinic visit. Each text conversation. Each mentor relationship. Each act of service reflects the heart of Christ toward the vulnerable.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:10)
Through Advocacy for the Vulnerable
The early church dedicated itself to the orphaned and abandoned (James 1:27). Today, the most vulnerable are those without a voice—the unborn, and the women carrying them.
Caring Network stands with them. Not with politics. With compassion. We remove barriers. We provide resources. We restore dignity. We help women see that life—their life, and the life within them—is worth choosing.
Caring Network: Saving Lives, Restoring Hope
We save lives through the C.A.R.E. Pathway:
- Commit — We go where the need is greatest, meeting women in urban centers marked by poverty and isolation.
- Attract — We reach her first online, before crisis presents abortion as the only option.
- Renew — We restore her belief in life through medical care, ultrasound, spiritual guidance, and time to think.
- Encircle — We walk with her long-term—through pregnancy, parenting, and beyond—so life is not only chosen, but sustained.
Just like Joseph, we know that God’s purposes are being fulfilled through our work. Women are discovering hope. Babies are being born. Families are being restored. Communities are being transformed.
Not through force. Through care.
